Introductions
First item in my introduction is the Campaign Slogan. It is the words next to my picture. I have become very concerned about the direction of this country’s future. We have left that future in the hands of the Republican Party for 16 years. This is a long time in which a tremendous amount of damage has been done to this country and the world.
President Obama ran on two slogans; “Change!” and “Yes, we can!” . He has been making changes almost every day, but it will take a long time to put everything back in place and in order. At first, I took the slogan “Yes, we can!” as “Yes, we can WIN!”. Later, I understood it to mean that yes, we can make those changes.
But it will take more than President Obama making changes to make things right. It will take each and everyone of us to make the commitment to support those changes and the changes to come. We must Choose our future. Because if we don’t choose and make that commitment, we will be giving our future back to the Republicans in less than a year from now.

An Introduction to my Politics
My political persuasion is a Green Dog Democrat. Namely, I believe our future is dependent on how fast and how green we can get. Climate change and energy depletion are the two crisis and green is the solution.
I believe that it is my duty and responsibility as your Congressman to search for, find, and bring back every possible green job to this district. Not just for individual jobs, but also for the way of life of our community.
I will defend this country from all of its enemies, both foreign and domestic. Being a former US Marine Corp officer, I know better than most people what this oath of office will require of me.
I am a Democrat because the Democratic Party is the only political party that has principles that match the principles that guide my life. These principles were formed by my family, my church, my military career, and my professional career.
